No sooner than after my break up with, “The Daily Kos,” I felled in love with my own blog. Seriously, I’ll be the first to admit, my own blog site felt more like a chore, then I had a aha moment and the rest is blissfulness. Could this bountiful feeling I’m experiencing, also be what some people refer to as, “Work with passion?” I’ve heard people say how much they love going to work, because they’re having so much fun. I’d often wondered what that felt like, then it happened to me. This is not my first rodeo. Long story short, I was once a Program Support Assistant working in an enormous university hospital. Yea, buddy, I was fortunate enough to work with a great group of Nurses and CNAs. That was truly a, “Work with passion” job. Then the wicked witch appeared and within 115 months or the equivalent of 9 1/2 years of employment, I went from being a Program Support Assistant, to water-girl, because I threw a big bucket of water on this wicked witch and you know the rest of this story. But, I was in love with that job every day, and now, it feels good being back on the saddle.
Oh, and by the way, one of those books I’d briefly mentioned on my blog yesterday, was all about yours truly, the Wicked Witch. Now that I think about it, it was more therapeutic for me to write what I did, because it was never intended for publishing. Writing that book allowed me to let go of all the resentment, anger, and hostility I’d felt towards the Wicked Witch and her cabal of mercenaries. Despite all that drama, I’d remained centered and loved working there everyday.
