Don’t Look A Gift Horse In The Mouth

Interesting enough, when a Broke Azz Supervisor smugly told me, “You’ll not be getting a raise at this time, because you didn’t meet your yearly statics,” I’d decided to not look a gift horse in the mouth. Not surprisingly, every co-worker I’ve told this story to, had the same response, “I’d quit, if they did that to me.” For me, I’d actually felt grateful, because what I’d received was priceless. C’mon, unless you’re the worst employee on this planet, no working American should ever hear that he/she will not be receiving a raise. If you heard those words or words similar to, then know this, don’t look a gift horse in the mouth. Also, there’s an old saying, “What’s done in the dark, will always come to light.” The opportunity to shine a light in the dark, is more lucrative than any raise. In a industry where attendance is brutal, the turnover rate is Freddy Kruger scary, and the exceptional employees like me carry the burden of Broke Azz Supervisors, and this national known retail store thought it was a good idea to scam me. Oh, no you didn’t! ;-D

As for that Broke Azz Supervisor, after dishonoring my worthiness on more than one occasion, she and the other Broke Azz Supervisors attempt to use their bullying tactics to get me to commit to coming to work on my days off. I kid you not, because even though this company devalues perfect attendance, they have no qualms bullying employees with exceptional attendance into filling holes in their daily schedules.  What’s wrong with that? Absolutely nothing if you don’t look a gift horse in the mouth.

So, I think it’s safe to say that, Broke Azz Supervisors and Broke Azz Customers are con artists, always looking for an individual to scam or swindle. Birds of a feather, flock together. Gotta love them, just saying. Stay tune for tomorrow’s, “All Those Broke Azz Customers, Where Do They All Come From?
