Maybe I Was Born At Night

But, not last night. Seriously, I’d worked in the public domain before, so I’m fully aware of how nasty, mean, and frightening some customers behave in public towards people employed in customer service jobs. Even customers on the phone can be rude, argumentative, and bullying, it comes with the territory, but that doesn’t mean every employee has to give up their power to these, “Broke Ass People.” Kept your power by choosing to remain peaceful in the face of contentious people, or what I prefer to call them, “Broke Ass People.” Listen, the moment you choose to participate in being angry, towards, “Broke Ass People,” that’s the exact same moment you gave up your power to them. By remaining peaceful, you keep your power, but better yet, you’ll feel a sense of empathy for, “Broke Ass People.” When I say, You’ll need BIG Cojones to work in the Retail business, it means, you’ll need courage to standing up to bullies with a smile.” πŸ˜€ Easier to say than to do, but the benefits are superb.

Co-workers tell me all the time how they’re being bullied by a supervisor or a, “Broke Ass customer.” It’s a common denominator for workers in the retail business to express their feelings, even to a back stabbing bitch like me. How do you think I can spot a back stabbing bitch a mile away? I know everything about back stabbing bitches, because it’s in my DNA. πŸ˜€ Seriously, I heart back stabbing bitches, as much as I heart blogging, and who better to tell our stories than me? It’s a win, win.

Be aware, not all retail employees are quick to giving up their power to, “Broke Ass People.” Here’s my message to “Broke Ass People,” I know it’s child’s play ending your reign of terror by looking you straight in the eyes and seeing your broke ass persona. You’re not fooling me, maybe I was born at night, but not last night. Just remember that when you broke ass people throw a tantrum in public, you’ve just revealed how much of a, “Broke Ass Person,” you really are. So, go ahead, make my day.

You and I are worthy of Income Inequality. Lord knows we’ve earned it.
