The Lucrative Ghost of Richard Nixon Part Twenty-One

In my world, the saying, “Don’t  look a gift horse in the mouth, just be grateful, applies to the accusation that the CIA criminally spied on Senate staffers. More appropriately, the CIA was accused of spying on people legally responsible to keeping an eye on its activities. I must admit that the debut of secret spying onto the national political stage had distracted me from Bridgegate. Can you blame me? Bridget Ann Kelly and Bill Stepien pleading the 5th arguments thinly disguised to stall this investigation are not that unique. It’s straight from the Tony Soprano bible, “Don’t do the crime, if you ain’t got the money to buy time” I get it, Democracy wasn’t built in a day!

Oh, what a tangle web they weaved when first they practiced to deceive. Chicken hawks are squawking about the decorum of the presidency while they engaged in wicked and depraved behavior. Like I’d said, “Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth, just be grateful.”
